Hero's use splinter weapon a little to freely...In my opinion hero's should only be able to use splinter weapon on them self, warriors, dervishs rangers and assassins. to many times i see my ranger cast it on my monk necro and ele. Im sure there are other skills that hero's should use better judgement and cast a little tighter, but this is the only one i see as of right now.

Hero's should be made to use better judgment when casting enchantment's on other teammates

I actually like the fact that Heroes use Splinter Weapon on Casters, as Hero/Hench casters do indeed auto-attack, which speads the efficiency.

If you want Splinter Weapon to work your way, you do the micromanagement.

Yes, in a way hero casters are better than many PUGs because instead of standing around for 10 seconds while waiting for energy to regen, they actually kite or help wand stuff to death.

It's just like how casting empathy on an enemy caster will still let it trigger many times.

The only problem I've experienced with it being used on casters however is that it will be used when they're dying. Thus, they're kiting and not wanding when they could be throwing Splinter Weapon elsewhere. Instead I have Professor Gai tossing Weapon of Warding on my full health warrior. *sigh*

Yes they even wand when they have empathy or spiritshackles on them, smart guys ^^

But they sould check the 'mode' and never use it when the ally is in 'avoid battle'.
